Understanding the needs of each country and different stakeholders is a key component for the success of LearnIn. The needs assessment is a coordinated effort to gather, structure and organize the needs of the participating countries and to use the insights we gather from it to guide immediate support and the project priorities for Phase II.
This is a qualitative survey - we’re interested in the story behind the facts and numbers. With that in mind, please consider the following points when answering:
Individual point-of view Describe the situation in your country in your own words and in detail. Tell us how you see the situation based on your expertise and individual experience
Country-wide perspective Please describe the situation in your country as you’re aware of it - holistically and reflecting the situation in the entire country, not just an individual region. If there are regional differences, please tell us about them. If you are not familiar with the situation across the entire country or you don’t know something, please make that clear in your answer.
Simple language When answering the questions, please answer them as if you'd have to explain what you'd like to say to a complete outsider with no knowledge of your country or the education system. Simple, conversational language is key to ensuring that we understand what you want to tell us.
In case you aren’t certain about something Statements and information you are not sure about are important to us as well. Please include them and indicate your uncertainty (e.g. by writing “I’m not sure, but …”)
