June 27th - July 8th
PH Zurich is proud to offer you its top-quality online summer school with the focus on «Innovative Approaches to Inclusive Education». Different opportunities will be given to explore both, international and local perspectives in the field of Inclusive Education. The online course lasts two weeks (both can be attended individually), starting on Monday, 27 June and finishes on Friday, 8 July 2022. Given the current refugee crisis in Europe, the second week will focus on innovative approaches currently developed to ensure learning for all Ukrainian children with and without disabilities, whether displaced or not. The course is open to students and graduates of educational sciences and/or teacher education (for children age 4–15). People working in NGOs or different professions in the educational field are welcome as well (social workers, psychologists, intercultural mediators etc).
In different webinars with Swiss and International partners throughout the 2-week online summer school the participants
- will get to know first-hand experiences of inclusive practices,
- will have the opportunity of discussing them,
- and will be participating in developing new ways of supporting all children in their learning.
Teachers, school representatives and other practitioners who work with ethnic minorities in Romania, with street children in Ghana or with refugee children in Switzerland and across Europe will share their experiences and approaches. You will learn about how children out of school can be reached and how participation and learning is ensured for vulnerable groups in precarious life situations.
Different professionals, stakeholders and policy makers will contribute towards developing the conceptual foundations that guide current policies and practices. You will have a first-hand experience of how educational crisis are addressed and how strategies are being shaped to ensure sustainable innovations towards creating more inclusive education systems.
